Words are powerful

"It’s not the quantity of words that’s important – it’s the quality, the quality. The quality of your words will determine the quality of your life – including the life of the people around you” – God

We all have the tendency to say something bad to someone, especially when we are right. We give no regard to the other person’s feelings. I know, because I too sometimes act the same way.

I remember once, when I was driving and there was this guy pushing a big cart, filled with junk. He was actually in the middle of the road, oblivious of the traffic he is causing. When I finally got the chance to overtake him, I rolled down my window and gave him the “finger”, and shouted some obscene words towards him. I was so mad.

However, minutes later, I suddenly stopped and thought to myself, man was I bad to that guy, he must also be having a bad day like me. But amidst my regret, I could no longer go back to the man and apologize to him because he is already gone.

How many times did this happen to you? Where you said something not nice, you said it because you were hurt or you were irritated or you were just simply being a mean to someone.
They always say that it is when you are right where you are actually the meanest.

Let’s choose our words.

Make your words a blessing, not a curse.

May you aim high, live life and love God,

Ludwig Weigand
